Ignition Switch

Distributor

The distributor has two parts: the outer rotor and the inner rotor. The outer rotor is linked to the crankshaft and connects the upper ignition system to the lower system. Ignition Coil



The ignition coil produces the high-voltage spark that is needed to ignite the fuel and air mixture when it enters the cylinder. It is connected to the ignition switch and is triggered when the switch is turned on. The ignition coil consists of two windings of insulated copper wire wrapped around an iron core. When the ignition switch is triggered, the voltage from the battery flows through the primary winding, creating a magnetic field. This field induces a voltage in the secondary winding, which creates the spark at the spark plug.
